Whoa… It’s been too long…

WOW! Life caught up with me quick, and before you know it this blog dropped off my list of priorities, and I do not like that one bit! Excuses, excuses… I was very busy with my final capstone class, which involved a semester’s worth of research, creation, and group work which culminated in to a fabulous book that we got an A on! And then there was a bunch of stress regarding my other class (which will not be named for fear of the crazy professor who probably loves to Google himself) and an awful final which in the end all worked out just fine. Honestly, I meant to create a post a *long* time ago explaining all of this, but even that somehow got lost in the blur of the last month.

But after this….

I’M BACK!

Yesssssir, I am officially a graduate! Last weekend it became official! The weather was great, my family came to celebrate, and it was wonderful! It’s still kind of surreal to come home from work and not have to think about any required reading (I can read for fun again – yay!), or papers, or mindless homework!

I’ve also been keeping busy doing lots and lots of laundry (long story short: we were without a dryer for a month and we just got a replacement on Friday) at the new apartment Jake and I moved in to! It has been so fun learning to live together, and truly, it’s been a very smooth and seamless transition. It is even more fun now that we can see our bedroom floor since laundry has been taken care of! ;)

After all these excuses, I’m sure you’re saying to yourself – mmk, I’m sure you had ten minutes somewhere in there to make a post! True – it’s not as if I didn’t get time here and there, but after giving 110% at school and two jobs, I often wanted to use those few minutes of down time to just relax and give my brain a break. I’m sure you understand, right?

Enough excuses! Now that things have chilled out a bit, I’m back and ready to spend some time on my blog again, and I hope that you’ll join me!
